At Hotel Cap Negret we are committed to sustainability as a key element for tourism to continue to be one of the main economic drivers worldwide.
Our objective is sustainable development in our daily operations, mainly in the way we relate to our clients, employees and suppliers. Always bearing in mind the care and respect for the environment and the local community where the tourism activity is generated.
Compra de productos de proximidad
Todos los proveedores contratados son locales o regionales, priorizando los productos de temporada. El Hotel planifica las compras racionalmente y, por lo tanto, los excedentes suelen ser mínimos.
Actividades con empresas, tours y guias locales
At Cap Negret we work with local companies to maximise the tourist experience for our clients. These companies are mainly located in the municipality of Altea, as is the case of bicycle rental, nautical activity companies such as kayaks or paddle surfing or working with local guides. All of them are sustainable activities with a low impact on the environment.
Patrocinio de equipos
At Cap Negret we currently have different agreements with different teams, mostly cycling teams. Specifically, our main agreement is with the Bingoal Wallonie team, a Belgian team with the aim of achieving a benefit for both parties. But we also have an agreement with the women's team Laboral Kutxa, a women's cycling team based in the Basque Country. In this way, we help to promote sport as a sustainable means and women's teams with the aim of sporting equality.
Limpieza de senderos
Such is the case of the clean-up of the Tossal de Mandem in Altea, where some 4,000kg of rubble, rubbish and dry vegetation were removed. In addition to the repair of paths that run through the mountain.
Asociación contra el cáncer de mama
Hotel Cap Negret participó como colaborador en la marcha contra el cáncer de mama realizada el pasado 15 de Mayo de 2022 por ANÉMONA (Grupo de Autoayuda para Mujeres con Cáncer de Mama de la Marina Baixa) .
Colaboración con asociaciones de la comunidad local
En Cap Negret se colabora con las fiestas locales, patronales y eventos turísticos como el Castell de l´Olla. Además de la colaboración constante con el Club Ciclista de Altea.
Exposiciones de arte
En Hotel Cap Negret se realizan exposiciones de arte en sus instalaciones. De ese modo, apoyamos a los artistas de la zona.
Donación de alimentos
Cuando se cierra el hotel en invierno, se dona la comida sobrante a asociaciones locales para evitar el desperdicio de alimentos, además de aportar la máxima ayuda a las asociaciones que más lo necesitan.
